My horrifying experience with Razorpay! Account suspended for “malicious activity” without reason. Created ticket on their own. I am clueless. There is no way that you can reach to them. The link to dashboard led me to login page. When tried to login it rflected a message "there is no account linked to this mail ID. Asked me to open new account. I registered with the same email ID, the portal said it requires manual verification for ehich I had to pay Rs.199/-. Post that the account displayed that this could not be activated as it's linked to another account. Question is if the account was deleted how come it's linked to an existing account. No support email, chatbot useless, zero help since 2nd Oct'25. Poor customer service & no accountability. They do not publlish helpline number. Chatbot is ill trained. No contact email id. I have beenj revceiving calls and they keep asking and keep telling me "they are escalating to relevant team, but it seems that the revant tea is non existant or it's toooooo Busy. I’ve had one of the worst experiences with Razorpay. It’s been over three months since I was told my refund was initiated, but I still haven’t received the money in my account. I’ve shared my bank statement multiple times, followed up again and again, yet I keep getting the same generic responses with no real action. This level of service is unacceptable from a company that handles financial transactions. I trusted Razorpay to manage my payment securely, but this experience has completely broken that trust. If this is how refunds are handled, I honestly can’t recommend Razorpay to anyone. Extremely disappointing and unprofessional support.

I’m honestly shocked at how poorly Razorpay handles refunds. It’s been more than three months, and despite multiple follow-ups and being told that my refund was “initiated,” nothing has been credited to my account till now. Their support team just keeps repeating the same lines without actually resolving anything. I even sent my bank statement as proof — still no action, no accountability, and no clarity. For a company that deals with people’s money, this kind of negligence is unacceptable. Razorpay seriously needs to fix their customer service and refund process. I wouldn’t recommend using their services to anyone until they start treating their customers fairly.

⚠️ Warning to all merchants & business owners: Razorpay is doing fraud with KYC charges. They took ₹199 from me in the name of account/KYC activation but never completed the process and never activated my account. Even after contacting customer care multiple times and requesting a clear explanation on email about how my KYC money was used, I received no reply for many days. This shows their lack of transparency and irresponsible behavior towards merchants. 👉 If a payment gateway cannot give basic customer support and keeps money without providing service, it clearly means they are cheating merchants. 👉 I strongly advise every business owner: Do not trust Razorpay with your money. 👉 They are unprofessional, irresponsible, and act like fraudsters by charging fees without delivering promised services. I will keep raising this issue on every platform so that no other merchant becomes a victim of such fraudulent practices.

It has now been more than a week my funds have been blocked I have produced invoices and email response from customers but still the funds are not being realeased. After such a long break of Lock downs we have managed to bring good business and suddenly all the funds have been blocked. I am getting no response from the team. I have been assured for a contact which is still not happening. I have been contacted by a guy called Abhishek. He refused to give his last name also refused to give his employee code and said they will contact me within 6.00pm 12th april and resolve the issue. Now it is 6:15pm. He did not give me a phone number as well. Note To All Merchants & Customers: I have my business based in kolkata but I had to travel to Bangalore to get an answer from #Razorpay as to why my funds are blocked. Everybody is working here in the office still the receptionist says that the risk team is on holidays but can do zoom meetings. I am asking them to give me paperworks as to why they blocked my funds, all they have to say is it is our policy. I on the other hand have never had any disputes and no complaints from any of my customers. They have blocked such a big amount that may cost me my business.
